​How We Started

​Gaia Soap Works was born from necessity. Do to numerous allergies and celiac - a sever allergy to wheat and gluten. Many beauty products have these and other allergenic ingredients in them.

 

Gaia Soaps are free of those as well as corn, soy and other common allergens.

 

We buy local and organic when all possible. And use sustainable, renewable and biodegrade ingredients in our products. We use ​buffalo tallow from local ranches and preserves that is rendered down for the fats used in our soaps.

 

Each batch is made by hand, cut and packaged by hand by a small family in northern Indiana.
